    Dear Christian Friends,

    The Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock, Texas conducts an Adventures In Missions (AIM) Program.
    The AIM program provides intense and concentrated Biblical studies and training to prepare young men and women to be
    missionaries. Upon successful completion of this nine-month period, these young men and women select a location of work
    from a list provided by the AIM program. They then go out as missionaries for a period of two years to that location.  

    The elders here at Sunset Ridge would like to recommend to you, Amberley Stephens.














    Amberley has made the decision to attend the AIM program. She was an active member here at Sunset Ridge for 4 ½ years
    before she graduated from high school and moved to Bryan, Texas. Amberley just recently participated in a medical missions
    trip to Belize in Central America. While on that trip Amberley decided that going back to the mission field was something she
    really wanted to do. However, before returning to the mission field she felt that she needed more training. Thus her decision
    to attend the AIM program.

    We, the elders, have studied the various methods by which young people can be supported while attending AIM. We have
    decided that a personal commitment by supporters would give the financial support necessary and at the same time create a
    group of supporters who can have a very close relationship with the one whom they are helping. When you support someone
    this way we find that you send not only your money to help, but that person also becomes a regular part of your prayers, and
    that they get personal letters from their supporters—and all of these are needed to help a young person in this difficult task.

    The elders hope that each person who receives an appeal from Amberley Stephens will be able to help—even if only
    for $5, $10, or $20 per month. Some people will want to help even more. Some may only be able to help with a one-time
    contribution. Whatever the case, any help you can give Amberley will be greatly appreciated.  

     A card is provided so that records can be properly kept. If you choose to help Amberley as she attends AIM, please send the
    card as well as your money to Sunset Ridge Church of Christ, P.O. Box 830, Brady, Texas, 76825. We will keep records
    and send monthly checks to Amberley.
